Call for Presentation Proposals
APO Centennial Conference  (August 29, 1:00pm, Gardenia Hall, Ala Moana Hotel)

2025 is a historic year for Alpha Phi Omega. This year, we mark the centennial anniversary of the fraternity's founding, tracing its history back to 1925.

Alpha Phi Omega-Hawaii is excited to host the 17th ACNA Biennial Convention and the celebration of APO's 100 years of commitment to Leadership, Friendship, and Service. One of the events to celebrate the fraternity's centennial anniversary is a mini-conference aimed at reflecting on the 100 years of Alpha Phi Omega and envisioning the role of APO alumni in the future. The conference theme is "APO @ 100: A Century of Leadership, Friendship, and Service."

We welcome proposals for presentation on August 29 that endeavor to:

  •    Reflect on the philosophical foundation and purpose of Alpha Phi Omega;

  •    Revisit and examine the past challenges and triumphs of the fraternity; and

  •    Envision optimal roles for APO alumni to more effectively respond to the call to leadership, friendship, and service.

The proposal abstract must be 250 words or less, concise but capturing the meat of the presentation. The title of the presentation must be no more than 10 words.

Email proposals to rliongson@gmail.com no later than March 29, 2025. You may use the form below.
