KIRED, which in Ilocano means "strong, robust and enduring" -- the very root of the sakada's fortitude and resiliency. Participated by individuals from various groups and sectors in the community, the play recreated the historical past, highlighting both the struggles and triumphs of a sturdy and resolute people. The community theatre was staged at the FIlipino Community Center on December 11, 2022.

The play was written and directed by Brother Raymund Llanes Liongson (Beta Lambda, '72). Among the cast were brothers Melvin Calivoso (Beta Lambda), Nur Hussein Lamorena (Epsilon Iota), and Jesse Navarette (Epsilon) who played the roles of the sakada laborers. Bro. John Jacinto (Gamma Beta) was the chief stage set builder, while Brothers Melvin and Giovanni del Rosario (Beta Lambda) were responsible for the set transport. Bro. Elmer Corotan contributed to the cultural authenticity of the play by providing sugarcane stalks and a live rooster.
